This quote always gave me chills, while reading the book. And it still does. I read "night watch" a few weeks ago and it got me totally addicted. Actually, it was the first of Pratchett's books, I've ever read.
(which means, yes, I'm quite new to the whole discworld universe :))

I Love the simplicity in these pictures and the contrast of light and dark. It catches the atmosphere perfectly. Really nice work.
